Paul C. DeCegli is a New York/New Jersey–based editor and member of IATSE Local 700, specializing in cinematic, contemporary work across cultural, social, and political storytelling. With over fifteen years of post-production experience, he has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including MTV, BBC America, Robin Hood Foundation, VICE Media Group, Sol de Janeiro, Sling TV, Cadillac, Levi Strauss & Co., and Seven Bucks Productions.

Most recently, Paul served as Staff Editor within the marketing division at VICE Media Group, where he edited hundreds of on-air promos and trailers for VICE TV and VICE News, in addition to delivering commercial and social media content. He has also worked as a voice-over artist for the network and continues to expand that practice. In 2022, he was part of the Creative Services team recognized with a Gold award at the Clio Awards for Digital/Mobile & Social Media Craft, honoring a series of animated VICE TV interstitials created in collaboration with a range of visual artists.

Outside of his editorial work, Paul co-hosts the podcast Cult Musicals and serves as co-chair of North Jersey Shadow Casting Arts. He also produces The Ordinary Kids, a monthly film event in Montclair in partnership with Montclair Film.

Paul is highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer, and also works as a camera operator across commercials, documentaries, narrative projects, and live events.
