Paul C DeCegli is a New York/New Jersey-based, IATSE Local 700 editor, that is looking to find new and challenging projects that are cinematic, contemporary, social, cultural, and political.
With fifteen-years experience in post-production, Paul’s clientele has included MTV, BBC America, The Robin Hood Foundation, Blowback Productions, Sol De Janeiro, Jellyfish, The People’s Improv Theater, The Sundance Channel, Cantor Fitzgerald, Pfizer, Timberland, Sling TV, Cadillac, Levis Strauss, and Seven Bucks Productions.
Most recently, Paul worked as Staff Editor for Vice Media Group’s marketing division for it’s VICE TV and VICE NEWS brands, cutting hundreds of on-air promos, trailers, and providing services for a number of different commercials & social media content. He has also functioned as a Voice-Over artist for the channel and is looking to build on that skill set. In 2022, Paul was part of the Creative Services team that won 2022 Clio Gold Award for Digital/Mobile & Social Media Craft for a series of animated VICE TV programming interstitials by a number of different visual artists.
Aside from his work, you can find Paul on the podcast, Cult Musicals, @cultmusicals on Instagram and is co-chair of a 501 (c)(3) non-profit theatre organization, North Jersey Shadow Casting Arts, LLC. He produces a monthly film event known as The Ordinary Kids in Montclair, NJ through a partnership with Montclair Film.
Paul is well versed in Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer and also provides services as a cameraman working in Commercials, Documentaries, Narratives, and Events.
